WWE Unboxing Video with new hashtag?

This is the first unboxing video that @InZaneO and I did.  It has amassed some awesome views (over 67,000!) and a lot of love and hate.

**Interesting to note:  After comments become 6 months old, you can't reply to them.**
 

Recently, it has started a new hashtag in the comments section - #TheTruthHasSetMeFree - this is from one of my favorite times in pro wrestlings...R-Truth's stint as a heel in 2011/2012.  Undoubtedly one of my favorite entrances was him coming out to no music...not sure why, it just worked so well for me.

It's always worth going back and checking out the comments of old videos you post.  People have some mighty interesting things to say sometimes.

Anywho, for our next unboxing video, we're going to spam the balls off #TheTruthHasSetMeFree.

In today's episode, I take a gander at one of America's large department stores:  K-Mart!

After watching this video, I really began to think that maybe the "K" in K-Mart stands for "Klearance."  Yeah, I know it's not spelled with a "K"!!

The hit four-season television series "Heroes" proves that television is more fake than professional wrestling.  It does so in one of the most climactic parts of the show - the climax at the end of the first season.  In true Dragonball Z fashion, Sylar does his "Ahhh!' face while Hiro calls out his name, charges at him, then stabs him.

(I may rag on this show for its fakeness, but I absolutely love this shot.)

After Hiro yells "Sylar!" it takes a whole FIVE SECONDS for him to charge about 20 feet and then stab Sylar.  FAKE!  Sylar just stands there like a dumbass.  Fake. 

To add on to it, some may argue "Well, Hiro just manipulated time while he charged!"  Shut up!

If you watch the shot right before Hiro stabs Sylar, Sylar anticipates the stab.  If Hiro manipulated time, Sylar wouldn't have had time to anticipate it.  Also, Hiro does have control over his power, but not so much as he does in later seasons. 

The Passing of Ultimate Warrior

The earliest pro wrestling memory I have is of Ultimate Warrior giving a promo addressing Hulk Hogan. Being merely just a few years old, I hid behind my father's chair for most of the promo, just peeking around it to see why he was so furious/pumped up. Passing right after the Hall of Fame (where he was inducted), WM30, and the ‪#‎RAW‬ after...extremely few people get to go out on top like that. I'm sure the gods are taking care of him.

Rest in peace, Ultimate Warrior.  Your memory will carry on as long as I do.

 

This has given The RAW Loaf the Ultimate urge to make it to WrestleMania next year in tribute to the Warrior!

This is our little pilot for a show we plan on taking off.  It's a short show (will be roughly a minute) and it will give you an idea of a couple things that are going on in Vegas within the next couple weeks of the show's posting.

Once we get more efficient, they'll be pumped out on the regular, hopefully with more features (contests, interviews, etc.) along the way.

A couple patch notes!

Was it necessary to change the critical tiles into glowing tiles?  I don't think so.  I guess it's cool, but it still works the same.  The alliance chat thing is pretty nifty though.

Plus, for visiting my blog, here's a few extra tips!

1.  Can't Lose Combo:  Storm (Modern) & Moonstone (Dark Avengers) in the Desert.  I've been playing them with Black Widow (Grey Suit) (because I have to in Hollowpoint Kiss) and using Deceptive Tactics to create more green tiles to power up Storm's Lightning Strike.  Mixed with Mistress of the Elements and Moonstone's Gravity Warp to shape the playing field its like a snowball rolling down hill - it's a circle that replenishes itself and will keep going with just a tad of luck! (Don't use this against BLoafX69)

2.  Make sure you have at least one battle a day.  Sometimes, I don't get my daily reward unless I have a battle.  Those daily rewards (including hero points, 2-star recruit tokens, and sometimes 3-star characters) will really add up over time!

3.  If you do purchase in-game content, make sure to buy the coins instead of Iso.  There are tons of opportunities to earn Iso in-game, especially early on.  Those coins are much, much harder to come by!

4.  You can choose which enemy you want to fight by pressing in the circled area in the screen capture below:

 



I don't remember if the game tells you this, but it's great to know!  (Don't use this against BLoafX69)

5.  There is also a Steam version of Marvel Puzzle Quest, however, it appears there is no way and no plans to be able to link your Steam version to your Apple/Android versions.  You'll either have to stick to mobile or to Steam.  Otherwise, other than a different interface, the two versions will run the same.
